[Reuben Thomas came to fine jewellery through his own engagement ring. He designed his wife's engagement and wedding rings before Thomas Elliott existed, which is where the standard came from.] He trained under a Toronto jeweller who gave him access to her full workshop and team. The business launched with two friends from their first year of university.
